The BCG Approach
21 questions
At the beginning stage we want to learn as much about you, your company and your brand as necessary. How do you view your brand? What do you perceive your company’s strengths and weaknesses to be? What are your brand’s strengths and weaknesses? List your company goals and objectives, etc, etc.
Perception is reality
Who is your target audience? What do we know about them and how they perceive your brand and/or company? What do they think about your competition? The market? What are their likes and dislikes? What key factors do they consider when making a decision on a brand or company?
It’s Out of Your Control…Mostly
This is an environmental analysis where we take a look at all of the uncontrollable factors that may impact your brand. Examples include market trends, opportunities, threats and competition.
Crafting the Message
Taken from all the analysis in Steps 1 through 3, we work together to form a simple message that differentiates your brand. Ultimately, our objective is to persuade the target audience to take a desired action. |
